CoP - Codes of Practice

There were previously seven Codes of Practice covering various types of waste-handling machinery. Over time, much of the safety and operational guidance has been transferred into machine suppliers’ operator manuals and other supporting documentation.

Today, only two CHEM Codes of Practice remain:

• CoP2 – The Safe Operation of Skip Vehicles
• CoP4 – The Safe Operation of Ground-Level Demountable Body Systems (Hook Type)
